Lasagna recipe homemade
Ingredients:
1 pound lasagna noodles
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, and set them aside.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, basil, fennel seeds, black pepper, and sugar to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a separate bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and parsley.
To assemble the lasagna, spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place a layer of lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread a layer of the cheese mixture over the noodles. Repeat the layers of sauce, noodles, and cheese mixture until you've used up all of the ingredients, ending with a layer of cheese on top.
Cover the lasagna with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Enjoy your delicious homemade lasagna!
